[Release] Balsamiq Mockups 3 for JIRA Cloud!

Hello friends of Balsamiq!

We're happy to announce that Balsamiq Mockups 3 has come to JIRA Cloud!

In March of last year we introduced version 3 to Mockups for Desktop and later to our Google Drive plugin.

Well, today we're ready to announce that we released Mockups 3 for JIRA Cloud in Atlassian Marketplace!

This release includes all of the v3 goodness: single-file projects, reusable symbols, a more standard editing UI with left and right panels, immediate auto-saving, full-screen navigation for viewers (without having to enter the editor), real-time collaboration, and more!

Here's a quick intro on what's new in Balsamiq Mockups 3 for JIRA Cloud:

Being a Connect add-on means Mockups 3 for JIRA Cloud is sold directly from Atlassian Marketplace and not from our website. This should make purchasing our add-on for JIRA Cloud easier for your team: your billing is unified with Atlassian and comes with standard Cloud licensing.

Subscriptions are monthly or annual, depending on your Atlassian subscription settings, and you can easily stop and start the subscription depending on your needs.

What happens for existing JIRA Cloud customers using v2?

Mockups 3 for JIRA Cloud is a new add-on that will replace the previous pre-installed Mockups for JIRA add-on. We've worked with Atlassian to make the technical and licensing transition between the two add-ons as seamless as possible for any users who had been using the older version of our plugin.

If you already have a Balsamiq-issued Mockups for JIRA license registered in your JIRA Cloud instance we'll be emailing your billing and technical contacts with details about the licensing and installation transition. Additional details about your license and add-on migration are outlined in here.

Technical details about migrating to the new add-on and migrating individual mockups to the new file format are found in our Mockups 3 for JIRA Cloud Transition Guide. Don't worry, it's very smooth.
