Balsamiq Sponsorships Update for May 2021
This month we’re highlighting a terrific week-long conference perfect for empowered women looking to gain insight that will benefit both their personal development and career: the Women In Technology World Series Online Festival.
Starting June 11th, women in tech will gather to work towards a diverse and inclusive industry, learn from inspirational speakers, such as Former First Lady Michelle Obama, and enhance their soft and technical skills.
And just to show you how interesting we find this particular event, five women from Balsamiq, myself included, have already secured our tickets. We hope to see you there!
“Are you looking to turn your idea into reality? You are in the right place! Join us for this one-day virtual conference where experts in the entrepreneurial space will come together to share their expertise, experience and tips on how to do so.”

“Speaking About is the biggest event related to software development in Beira Baixa, bringing together communities of meetups and events, speakers, companies and sponsors in one place, promoting the national ecosystem. Speaking About is a dynamic conference with the objective of presenting important topics according to the needs of the communities to which we connect and, for this reason, we exist and apply a lot of effort to make this day unforgettable.”
“This is a one week intensive virtual training on Python and Django for beginners to upskill their coding abilities. Training is packaged by Witty Technologies & Empowerment Foundation, it is free and open to all but we would like to encourage all participants to get for themselves a good laptop for the training so as to aid learning with speed.”
“Until we can gather together, we’re taking our annual UX London conference online. Including a three-day conference, weekly mini-conferences on big issues facing our industry and deep-dive Masterclasses, networking and more. Plus our Conference and Festival passes include access to the incredible content on-demand - meaning you don't have to miss a thing, no matter where in the world you are joining us from.”
“A more remote world – 2020 has left more of the world open to and in many cases forced to adopt remote ways of thinking, exploring and engaging. UX is something which has entwined itself in the understanding of many and in this new remote world, more challenges & lessons have arisen. We want to explore some of these talks, ideas, themes and case studies – share more and understand more in order to constantly improve.”
“The Women in Tech World Series Online Festival, the unmissable virtual event for women in tech, will return this June to connect a truly global audience of 10,000 tech professionals. The week-long festival offers an immersive, educational experience for like-minded women to access proven strategies and tools that support them in their mission to achieve their career goals.”
“Design at Scale is the next stage in the evolution of our flagship conference, which began as Enterprise UX in 2015, and became Enterprise Experience in 2019. You’ll learn from new voices, representing diverse perspectives and experiences, rather than the celebrities who happen to inhabit an organizer’s rolodex.”
“Join us for this one day of React(Native) and frontend tech online conference. Streamed online FREE. 1000 tickets includes merch shipped to you and access to the chatrooms to ask questions after the talks.”
“ProductCamp ON>LINE™ is for anyone who builds, designs, markets, or manages a product or service worldwide--as well as entrepreneurs and start-ups. “PitchTeen was India's first tech startup competition for HS students and received more than 250 registrations from 9 countries. This time, we are back and ready to break the gender stereotypes in business and tech industries. We'll have a lot of fun workshops, events and networking sessions so what are you waiting for? Hop in!”
“We believe that a better and more holistic UX in healthcare is as crucial now than in anytime in history. Many still experience the strain of archaic healthcare systems that are stretched to breaking point with pervasive illness and viruses. The UX Healthcare Consultancy strives to deliver user centric solutions leveraging UX, service design and robust research approaches. We aim to work with clinicians, designers & innovators to not only redefine an improved patient experience but also impact the world with more alternatives..”
“At Hydrangea Hacks, hundreds of students from all over the world will come together and build awesome projects all while creating a supportive learning community. The event is open to all high school and undergraduate students who self-identify as women (cis and trans) or non-binary individuals.”
That’s all for now. We’ll be back again next month with more exciting events to share with you!
