Dev update for May 21 2019

It's been a while since we last spoke, friends. I cannot believe it's May already! I don't have a long post for you today, but I think you'll be happy with it.

Though the majority of the dev team is heads-down on the new desktop apps, we managed to find time to also work on some cool stuff for Balsamiq Cloud. I wouldn't call these updates 'fully-new features', but they are some of the most requested refinements we have had for our little web app. Let's take a quick look!

More Information in Notification Emails

We launched Balsamiq Cloud's notification system in January. I mentioned back then that the ability to see who changed what was still coming; and now it is finally here.

We hope that you will find the additional information helpful! There is a small discussion starting in our forums about adding your own actions to notification emails. If that is something that sounds useful, reply to that thread, or send us an email. We want to hear from you!

When Balsamiq Cloud came out, linking directly to the Full Screen Presentation Mode was the single biggest request. The path to get there was admittedly slow (presentation mode had to be completely rebuilt), but we have finally arrived at our destination. You can now send a presentation mode link to a stakeholder or collaborator.

With this update, the Full Screen Presentation Mode is now fully armed and operational - and we couldn't be happier with it. Give it a spin, and let us know what you think!

Until Next Time...

Parting is such sweet sorrow, but there is a silver lining: The next time we talk, we will be talking all about the new Balsamiq Wireframes for Desktop app. We're so excited to finally share it with you. We need only to wait a little while longer..

Until then, friends.
