Proximity, alignment, and visual hierarchy are key principles of page layout. They help people understand a page, so when you’ve laid out the basics for your wireframe, go through and make sure you’ve applied these 3 ideas throughout.

  1. Use proximity to pull things together and separate them from others.
  2. Use alignment to show what belongs together.
  3. Use visual hierarchy to show relative importance.
