The answer depends on the version of Balsamiq:
- Subscriptions - Balsamiq Cloud, Balsamiq for Confluence Cloud, and Balsamiq for Jira Cloud
- Licenses - Balsamiq for Desktop
Subscriptions
To purchase a subscription product, you must first sign up for a trial. Specific details on how to purchase subscriptions are found here:
- Balsamiq Cloud
- Balsamiq for Confluence Cloud (sold by Atlassian)
- Balsamiq for Jira Cloud (sold by Atlassian)
We only accept credit and debit card payments for all versions of our product. This includes Balsamiq Cloud plans, as well as licenses for Balsamiq for Desktop.
Licenses
You can purchase a license for Balsamiq for Desktop by credit card on our website.
Once that is done, you will receive your License Information via the email address you entered when purchasing, along with a link to view, edit, or download the invoice for your purchase.
How can I request an estimate/quote?
Quote/estimates are not available for Balsamiq Cloud.
Requesting a no-obligation estimate is quick and can be done directly on our pricing page. Select the Balsamiq for Desktop license product, and then select the option that says "get an estimate" next to the checkout button.
Fill in your information and your estimate will be created for you. You can then download a PDF copy of it and an email will also be sent to you automatically containing the link to your online estimate.
Pricing on estimates is valid for 60 days.
Should you choose to purchase, you can pay for the order by credit card using the "Pay Estimate" option on your online estimate. You can also make changes to your estimate prior to paying by selecting "Edit estimate info" and saving the changes.
If you only have the estimate number but not the link to the online estimate, it's possible the estimate was requested by someone else, for instance a colleague. You can ask them directly for the estimate link or you can email us with the estimate number so we can help.
Can I submit a purchase order to Balsamiq?
We do not accept purchase orders as form of payment, nor the terms and conditions commonly associated with them. The only accepted payment method is a valid credit or debit card.
However, you can still create a quote to process things internally and include a PO number for tracking purposes only.
